It looks like a lot of people got scammed. Did you see HV20.com? The mods over there told a fifteen year old kid to stop whinning & that it was all his fault that he got scammedrogar-BlackEye(DBG because he bought something on the internet from somebody he didn't know :huh: isnt that how everything is bought on the internet?
This is really sad...the forum there has made this situation so frustrating because everyone is treating those of us who lost our money as stupid and deserving...as we shoud just chalk it up to experience as one user told me. And I do find that the forum is in some way liable for our loss though I think the legal battle would be tough for a $300 claim...maybe that is why they have no fear in thir remarks. For those of you that lost money and paid through paypal, I was able to start a dispute claim through my bank over the charge. Even though I paid through a direct debit to my checking account. This might be a good route for others to follow. I think the banks will have plenty of resources to go after this guy. I find it really weird that he went by the name jennzababe which is also the myspace name of a 23 year old girl, also in Utah. Coincidence? From what I can see, "Chris" lists himself online as having three children, so maybe he used one of their id's t cover his tracks.
