GH2 Bizzare GH2 glitch

So, my GH2 decided to freak out like so:
After fiddling about I managed to reset the firmware to 1.0 - same issues. Back up to 1.1 and same thing.
Anyone have any pointers?

I don't know, but here is my guess. The wheel has some dirt in the contacts; get some compressed air focused around the wheel.

Dear Panasonic...what the hell?

Let us know what you find out. It looks like faulty connection somewhere (need to dismantle the body to be able to check contacts) otherwise it is the weirdest software issue I've seen since for it do to that, you'd have to change the hard-coding, which with the hack is still impossible to my understanding of what the hack does, or rather allows.

Menu button fail. Maybe something got stuck in there between the contacts? Give it a good shake. :3

Does not seems to be software, especially if you already flashed the camera. If it is past your warranty, I would say open, and check the menu button. it looks like it got stuck inside. The plastic button on top of the switch might work well while the component on the circuit board has an issue.
I would bet my money on that. why?: you flashed, and it switches between two screens that this single button commands...

I found the culprit - my time lapse pan/tilt head was causing it. Needed to use a separate intervalometer to avoid the problem now..
