I earn my living as a professional magician / mentalist. I have always been disappointed by the quality of magic/mentalism promos. So I decided I was going to approach the genre as a filmmaker would; using story and actors

I created this promo for a company that sells high end items to the Mentalism community. It has been receiving great reactions. The piece will be featured on the company's site.

Thanks for watching

Hi HerzogisGod, I liked the clean audio and the suspence and feel of the piece. The mirror effect was nice. For some reason my machine wasn't playing it at full speed. It might have been a slow connection but over all I liked period feel that you created but dam it I wanted to see the trick.

I have been a magician since I was ten and use to travel doing shows but do mostly close up these days. I Love magic!

Just post the number of your vimeo link between the vimeo brackets and your video will play. I will be watching this shortly.

Thanks Matt.

I shot on the HVX200. I would have loved to have had a dolly for one shot, but that would have been way over budget. As it stands, Im happy with the results. This was my first effort with any kind of promo piece that actually sells something.

The video concept works in connection with the website page. This company produces items that are more about mood and story. They have a hardcore following.
