I wouldnt either.. This is really for people either thinking about buying the camera or are very green... Like I said in the interview if they got together with panasonic and put one in every box, it would be great. I know I woulda loved to get one of these with my camera at the time I opened the box.
When I bought my 100A a few weeks ago, I also bought Steve Mullen's guide. It was helpful - much clearer than the original manual. It contains useful information about settings (even for a newbie), and most of all, it wasn't translated from Japanese.
Wow, thanks for saving me $50! I bought Steve Mullen's guide, and this DVD sounds like an even more simple version of that. Steve's guide helped me with some controls and features I wasn't sure about on my DVX, as I am a very green videographer. I guess I'm looking more for some 'tricks' to mess with for achieving certain effects, or what settings to play with under certain circumstances.. in short, an experienced hand. =]
Anybody in the San Francisco Bay Area that owns a DVX and wants to help me learn some good cinematography tricks? =] My camera and services are on loan in exchange. =]
