Wed March 2 at Rule camera learning series the subject is a demo of the Birger EOS mount for the AF-100. For anyone in the Boston area.

just posted on their Facebook page 10 minutes ago:
Rule Boston Camera At Wed's Learning Lab, Birger Engineering introduces their new lens control system for EF mount lenses (modeled by the AF-100). 10am-12n. RSVP: events@rule.com.

Great news. I wish I was in Boston. Please someone shoot some video of the demo. Would love to see this in action.

This can't come out fast enough. I cant wait to use my Tokina 11-16 and Canon 24-70 L on my AF

Does the Birger Mount do away with the iris glitch or does the fstop stay steady on Canon zoom lenses?

Informative. I would hope in the future they ask the people in the audience to hold their questions till the end of the presentation.

Awesome! this looks very promising and it looks like it will work with the gh2 as well. Wish I could have seen it in person.

Haha, really!
don't you love the guy who asks the technical question that really doesn't have that much to do with what is currently going on.....

but, nevertheless, very interesting video! I had a friend who was there in the audience and he said that it worked beautifully.

I'm impressed and regret any criticism I may have offered in the past about Birger - it definitely looks like it's worth the wait and the cost.
