Bird life in Australia

Hey guys,

This is my first video post here. Did some test shooting today with my new camera... so I'm still a noob. Didn't do anything super special, just shot some different birds at a park in my hometown and then cut it together in final cut. Not too sure yet what the best settings are to export for the net. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Its funny Zeakio, thats the first footage i took when i got my camera, wildlife.

What camera are you using...did you use any filters UV/Poleriser?
Did u use the ND filter....

Our country is very harsh on the eye, we need to tone down the sun.... using some of the above methods...

But some nice shots well done.

Geelong i was there last week...nice place.

If you need some tips just contnue on in this forum and you should get the knack...

Yeah I've been itching to shoot stuff ever since I got it but I couldn't figure out what to shoot, so I figured wild life would just have to do it for now! I've got some music videos lined up down the track so I better practice now and learn how to use the camera.

I didn't use any ND filters... I put the shutter speed to 1/1000... shot with HVX202 at 720p25p. Also shot at 50 fps (except for timelapse). Didn't really use zebras until nearly the end of the shoot... so that's why a lot of it looks over exposed I guess! Did colour correcting in fcp too.

Thanks for the reply... I know it's nothing spectacular but it's still nice to put something up online and get a response!

Sweet looking footage Zeakio, the waterful I gather was 1/1000th shutter. I loved the detail between all the drops of water.
