$500 was my bike budget. I had 3 Kawi 750 twins, a 76, 77, 78, and the most I paid for any of them, was $700 from a dealer, the other two were $125 and $75.. I just want another cheap project, there isn't much money after bills and groceries.
 
went up to santa barbra, but it was all june gloom sunday, but when i got back to S.M. it was a beautiful sunny day
 
Just wanna throw it out there.....I am in Santa Barbara and looking to purchase another bike. I have had three in the past and always have had to end up selling them eventually due to different things. However, now I am settled into this area and looking to pick up another. I have had two Ninja 250's and one Suzuki GS500. I would like something similar, and would honestly love another ninja 250 (I don't weigh too much so that is more than enough for me) I am of course keeping an eye out on craiglist and other sources but if anyone knows of anything available pm me. Ideally through a private seller as I find dealerships to be a pain but I'm open to anything.
 
Anyone have a Triumph Daytona 600 (or even 675)? I'm about to buy a 2004 at a really good price and have always like the look of them.
 
I think my brother has a couple of them. A '54? restored and a '67? chromed up with a silver tank called 'Edgar'. I'll shoot him a PM with a link to this thread.
 
Ah, sorry forget the Daytona. The original bike I was looking at looks like it might be mine. Deal of the century! Will post pics and info when all is done.

EDIT: Well the deal of the century turned out to be a scam, this guy has many scams running everywhere. Lucky I have a brain.

great weekend riding. Max i don't know if it's open i didn't even know it was closed. we were going to head up that way too but decided to go south to long beach on sunday for a party at Bennets high performance shop and saturday we hung out at Hermosa Beach.
 
well it looks like we have some warmth coming in next week....Finally!.....i went down to San Diego this past Saturday, to Pala Indian Rez. for the Viet Nam and Legacy Vets MC overnighter to see some old friends, came back same night. I'm planning on maybe going up to Yosemite for Labour Day weekend "Strawberry Music Festival" should be a good ride once i get to the mountains.
