Bikers Korner...........

Yeah, I had a hard time deciding between the earlier SOHC and the later. I eventually went with the DOHC just to try something a bit different (everybody seems to be cafe'ing/bobbing the earlier ones). I'm happy with the bike, but what I have in mind will change the look pretty dramatically. That was my second dilemma... keep it original (design-wise), or change it up. The die-hard honda guys won't be happy with my decision:happy:

Me wanty. Not to replace the R1150GS, but to keep it some company...
 
Funny to see this thread pop up, I just saw a very good GSXR 750 K5 (my favourite style) on ebay for a brilliant price but alas, it had just been sold. Dammit.
 
Here is another Triple..Last year a group of Triple riders rode to Sault Ste Marie then crossed into Michigan and back home . About 1,300 miles.

Yeah, but it's not painted flat black. It goes faster when it's black.
 
hehe. The other post is from my brother. He used to ride a black kawi triple. A few stories there. I like to bug him whenever I can. He only posts here once every 600 years or so.
 
hahahaha true ..too busy these days..That Black 75 H2C was wicked..I can't seem to ride that fast any more.

Just watched it. Pretty good. The sound of the kawis when you crank them sound wicked.
I noticed at around the 27 min mark a song from Pink Floyds ummagumma album was playing on the guys stereo.
Haven't heard that one in awhile.

man this weather sucks(june gloom) and it's damn cold for almost summer! but it's great riding weather
 
another great day to head out to the hills, twisties, turns, and then ocean to get a cold one! if you see a green helmet with a bottle on the back and i'll be wearing my boozefighter cut on.
 
I have a tiny 100cc ’72 Yamaha… just big enough to still be considered a motorcycle. I would love to get another larger bike but I need to save money. Someone needs to come up with a motorcycle sharing business… because that wouldn’t be risky.

Crazy deals is more like it, You would be amazed at some of the stuff these folks think. A basket case 70something Jap bike for $2,300, and not all the parts are there... kinda like the people selling it.
 
Have you checked out that service that will ship you a bike anywhere in the lower 48 for $500? It lets you look at markets (like SoCal) where there's more of a glut and therefore lower prices...even with the $500 figured in you might be able to find the right deal that way...
