Bikers Korner...........

pics of Da Hog.

It's an '07 Fat Boy that has a ton of extras; Chrome wheels, chrome forks, 2" lower rear end, chrome sprocket, chrome grips and controls, Stage 1 update and Rush pipes and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. I bough it new last year and love it. It was the first year of the 6 speed and the 96" motor. 1580ccs of fuel economy, baby!!!!!

Gnarley downhill run in loose rock and went flying through the air off this one drop. Not very good at the flyin' thing and slammed into a tree. Good thing I was wearing this:

You might recognize the last photo as the same jacket worn by Cilian Murphy in Silent City.

ARG!
Laid my bike down this afternoon for the first time in 7 years. And I was only going about 15mph.
Put on the breaks coming up to an intersection and next thing I know by arse end is passing up my front end.
Luckily it was right in the middle of the afternoon rush hour so there was about 100 cars around me to watch........
Man was I dazed. It happened so fast I'm still trying to figure it out. Hope this isn't a bad omen going into summer riding season.:Drogar-KnockedOut(D

Sounds like a not-quite-pulled-off stoppie.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that.

Hope neither you nor the bike are scratched up much.

Clean looking ride William!
My dad has an old fuji he converted to fixed gear. I tried it over christmas and about killed myself.
Give me gears plz.

Hey Karl, where'd you get the mount for the GPS? I've got a Garmin Nuvi and would love to mount it to my bike somehow...

The mount is put together out of four separately-sourced components: there's a base which installs around the speedometer ring (custom for the R1150GS; you'd use a different base mount for your bike) with a 1" RAM ball on top, to which is connected a 1" RAM arm section, which links to a 1" universal backplate adapter, which is bolted to a Garmin-made mounting bracket.

Cycoactive and Touratech carry a wide variety of GPS bike mounts, and I remember seeing Nuvi-specific stuff on their lists.

I want another motorcycle. I had a Harley Sportster, and sold it because I literally had no time to ride and carried a ton of stuff with me everywhere I went. Now, I have less free time, BUT, I need something to commute with that's faster than my bicycle. I've been looking for a Honda 599. But, I'll take just about anything sporty.
