Big THANKS!

Sorry to go back to Barry's monitor discussion... but what if I were shooting for the web. Then would firewire 1394 monitoring be most accurate? It must be native RGB data. No? Is component output really RGB or do the connectors just looks like they are and it's really 601 Y/Cr/Cb ?

Hey Jarred or Barry, I dont know if this has been touched on before, but I want to go to one of these bootcamps pretty bad, yet I need to do some service for the Merchant Marine for about a year. So for people like me that just cant get to a bootcamp, do you guys have anything in the works as far as a Bootcamp on DvD set. Any info on how to learn more on my dvx other than Barry's awesome book would be much apprecited.

David's beating me to it, but yes -- we have finally launched the BootCamp DVD set. It ended up being over three hours of content(!) It's actually more in-depth than I can do at the live BootCamp (usually because Jarred and Evin are grabbing the ol' Vaudeville hook to drag me off the stage so that the rest of the presenters can get their classes in!) I'm pretty proud of this DVD set, I think it has to rank up there as the most comprehensive camera tutorial DVD ever offered.

Thanks to all you guys for asking for it, and we're glad to be able to say it's now available. Hopefully this will help out those who wish they could attend the full BootCamp but either a) there wasn't one nearby, or b) they couldn't afford the full admission price.
