Big River Man

Hello Listers,

Last night, I watched Big River Man, for the second time. It is the the engaging story of Martin Strel, who swam the Amazon River. Thats right, the longest river in the world. This guy isn't new to this, he has also swam the Yangtze and the Mississippi. This was on one of the Discovery channels and it was shot on a HVX! There was a credit for the cam, at the very end of the credits.

Although the cinematography rambles about, it is a great story and well worth the watch.

Never blame the camera, blame the person behind it. A good DP and crew will get you great results, no matter the camera.
 
I am giving salute to my country-man.. Althought many in my country thinks he is nuts and don't give him much respect, I amire his strenght and will..

Looking forward to see that movie; becaouse it was shoot on HVX200 - the reason more to see it..

He is nuts, even his son says so! But he is a charming and endearing character with an incredible story. You can't not like him.
