Big JVC type broadcast camera

Shooting a project in which there is a staged news interview (think Tom Cruise's interview scene in Magnolia), I'm shooting the project with my DVX/LEX combo, but for the sake of making it all look as authentic as possible, I want to have a couple big JVC (or equivalent) broadcast type cameras there (to be seen on camera).

I DON'T need them to work, and I CANNOT afford to rent something like that. What should I do? Is there ANYTHING I could do that won't cost hundreds?

Beg a local news/PBS/Public Access stations to let you shoot on their set for free/cheap?

Come up with a wild story, and call all the local news stations to cover it. When they show up with their cameras, start shooting...

Or, you could post in Craigs List for guys with big cameras to act as stand ins.
