This was my directorial debut, in which I also adapted for the screen, produced and edited. I made this film before I joined the DVXuser community, but wanted to share with you guys and interested in thoughts.
The film was shot over Labor Day weekend 2010 on a budget of roughly $3,000. It was shot on the Canon 7D with Zeiss lenses. It was adapted off the Philip K. Dick public domain short story of the same name, and screened at several festivals nationally before I posted on YouTube for mass consumption.
Looking back on it, definitely some things I would have done a little differently, but that's every project. Helped me realize I like being a cinematographer way more than a director, but it was a fun experience and I am happy overall with the film. Feedback always welcome -- thanks!
