Beyer used to be one of the big names in shotgun mics, and still is, but doesn't have the same brand recognition as AT or Sennheiser. Nonetheless, this is a solid ultra long shotgun in great shape (despite a few scratches) that is basically built for outdoor nature videography. Not suited for indoor use except in treated studios. This is a high-end piece of equipment.

The new version as reference:

$350 shipped for mic and original case.

So this one you're selling is comparable to an $1,100 one? Or rather the one in the link? Thanks,
