HELIOPAN sells a filter that does not only lock the UV-light, but also the infrared-light. They claim that especially the infrared-lock would result in better colors and sharper pictures....
For 160 Euro they sell a 82mm filter (fits HVX) and I wonder whether this would be the better choice as a simple UV-filter to ALSO PROTECT the lens of our beloved camera.
What do you guys think? Is there a big difference to a normal UV-filter?
Any experience or comment?
How the filter looks like............
Perhaps the question about "infrared contamination" and if a filter can help or not can be solved by knowing HOW SENSITIVE the HVX chips are for IR-light. Or do they have an IR-filter as some still cameras have?
