Hi,

who is using the generic GH1 batteries from bestbatt.com?

I purchased 2 of these. The problem I'm experiencing is when
pressing the battery release, the batteries do NOT pop out
like the original panasonic one. it's next to impossible to get it out,
requiring a screwdriver to push it out.

contacts maybe too tight? emailed their tech support just now.
 
both batteries visually look very similiar except for small slots on the sides. does not seem to affect anything. since it's spring loaded, it had to be the contacts being too tight. I used a flat jewel type screw drive and carefully widen the gap slightly between contacts. It's popping out now so that's good news.

yes it works. if you look at there website, it also states that.

will have to see how the charging holds.
 
In my case panasonic does not sell gh1 or its accessories here in Brazil. This country has so much so much to improve.
