best wireless follow focus for Canon 1DC???

Interested to hear from anyone who has used remote follow focus devices. These days, we have so many choices out there from: Redrock, Jag35, Okii, Apurture V-control, and others. I'd love to hear anyone who has tried any of these.

My reason for choosing remote focusing, is that I'm a one man band. And I plan to do some Reflecmedia green screen work where I have to be quite 9-10 feet from the camera, (the Reflecmedia method). Being able to self focus remotely would be ideal.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hey Nicholas,

The microRemote has gotten a lot of great reviews, including one from David Dowell, the 1st AC of ABC's Pretty Little Lairs. We also had a customer make a short combination review of the microRemote and the Parralinx Arrow. We're really proud with how the microRemote turned out!

If you're a one man band, the option to use the fingerwheel controller and follow focus emulator for other shoots really sets the microRemote apart.

Also, as opposed to being stuck with having to always use EF lenses with the controllers that work via the USB port of the camera, the microRemote can work with lenses of all kind, from still photography lenses to larger cinema lenses.

Please let me know if you have any specific questions about the system!
