B&H is number 1 the reason they get grumpy or act rude is because they get alot of people in there just looking, and that gets old.

Well, considering they cater to tourists, and all but drag people in off the street, yeah, of course there will be a lot of people just looking. What a lame statement.

B&H is great when you're in a rush and know exactly what you want. The salespeople are definitely like grumpy uncles, but that's part of the charm.

I find if your a common/loyal customer and deal with the same person/people/store you get good deals if you ask. Find a good store and stick with em and theyll take care of you.

I'd have to agree with alot of what I've read in this thread (cough..cough...timur)
But I'll be nice and just say B&H is great for online purchasing.

B&H has screwed up a couple of online orders (very delayed shipping, lost order, no customer service) for me now and I try to avoid using them. Sometimes its just too convenient - I've learned to only order things in stock and dont trust them to handle a drop ship from the manufacturer.
