I have a project shoot on HVX200 720pN24
I had to edit in a 1080i timeline on a MCA- this way I was able to switch the project to 480i output for viewing on a external monitor.
I still have no idea what I am looking in terms of picture quality and it is making color corrections a nightmare. (why can't Avid give us a cheap HD output like FCP?)
Anyway, my question is about the transcode.
I need to output the project for SDDVD.
What is the best setting for transcoding?
(I tried 1:1mxf and it looks no better than a straight burn from the downrezzed timeline)
