We are getting ready to shoot some commercials with an HVX in which we want to mimic the "hyper Jump" look seen in some movies like "Behind Enemy Lines" and "Die Another Day". This is where the camera starts off away from the subject and then in a blur arrives in a close up of the subject. My guess is that the camera is slowly moved across a wide distance and then the speed of the shot is dialed way up in post.
Question 1: Would it be better to shoot in a higher frame rate to maximize this effect?
Question 2: Any other advice for ending up with a pristine result?
Thanks for your help!
