Best Way to Mount an LCDVF without using a sticky frame?

I found that the sticky mount from my T2i came off rather easily, and seems to mount on the screen of the GH2 without trouble. Guess the displays are roughly the same size. Meanwhile, the problem with having the metal sticky frame is that I have to close the LCD with the screen facing outward (it gets in the way if closed inward). Not that this is so terrible- all of my Canons have screens stuck facing out anyway, so why should the GH2 be any different.

But, I realized I can really just pull the frame off with barely-more-than-minial force, and stick it on again later if I really wanted to close the screen. I know eventually the frame will lose any adhesive quality the more I do this, so I wonder how long it will last. But meanwhile, I've stuck it on-and-off about quite a few times already (I'm still not sure if I want to keep it permanently mounted or not), and every time I seem to be shocked that it still sticks. :)

Just saying, those sticky frames are hardly permanent, and much more temporary than some may realize.
