Best way to have your footages made into dvd?

Hi, I have about 300G of footages, no more hd space, need to burn them into dvds, what is the best way to do that? I have V5 and DVD2, how should it be? from the 1st step to last step? for best results. This site is very helpful... thx

Another thing, I test rendered a short clip into DVD, the image is not so good, the "interlaced image?" where you can see the black/white jigsaw effect when panned fast, how to rid that? all my footage is 60i................ help help ;D
 
Figured it out... combined into avi... then into dvda2. is combining 10 min. footages into 2hrs of avi in 16min. considered fast? and in dvda2 2hrs of avi into a dvd in 3 and half hrs..... normal time?
