I was about to mention Underworld, Homer beat to it. Bramstroker, was probably my most creepiest. From Dusk til Dawn is good too. Wasn't glitter a vampire movie?
I "HATED" Blade, because the editing (if you want to call it that) was horrible. It totally kept reminding me that I was watching a movie.
There are many good Vampire films already listed by others here, but there is one that I don't see listed. Its one of my favorites. I don't see how anyone can call themselves a Vampire Afficianado (sp?) without seeing "Martin" directed by George Romero.
Both Nosferatu's (Klinsky's is gorgeous)

I can't stand most modern vampire movies. They're never scary. The Blade movies don't even count. Decent action movies but...
A good Vampire movie gets into the true pathos of the vampire myth, few ever do. They're always a let down.
Fright Night was one of my favorite movies when I was kid though! Funny stuff. FN2 was so, so
I don't know about you guys but I really loved the beginning sequence with Hyde in van helsing. I think it ws well made. then the rest of the movie was ook... but I couldn't forget the intro. that was awesome. it could have been an ending of the movie itself and I would have liked it.
everything else so overexaggerated- to mention a few,
