Best Under 700 Lav Mic And Do I Need Them?

I just did another sound test and the Oscar Tech 801 sounded pretty close to a Tram, with a slight boost in the mids and highs, to help compensate for the "buried under clothing" sound. The 802, modeled after a Sonotrim, sounded ok but not great. The TL-40 which is supposed to sound like a cross between a Sanken COS-11D and a B6, sounded not so great. It was thin sounding due to the boosted highs and I found the tone to be slightly colored. The TL-40 is the one that stood out in my mind as being terrible. The 801 (Tram style) isn't terrible and at that price, i would probably get at least one to use as a backup. I must have lumped all of the Oscar Sound techs into one category since the TL-40 sounded so bad to my ears. 801 - Decent, 802 - Mildly decent, TL-40 not so great (very susceptible to wind noise and breath pops, even with a windscreen).
