Yeah, the 3284 works with the 75mm 525, which already has a 75mm hole, but the 3502 works with non-ball screw-in types like the 3221 pod. It's a lot shorter, like 3" or so. Man evs is sooooo fast. Just got my 3221 tripod w/503 head AND the ball leveler in! Setup was a breeze. Thanks guys for helping me choose. I love this setup :D.
