Best source for Pelican Cases

Just bought a 170, and I'm looking at the 1510 and 1610 Pelican cases, which people seem to prefer (I'm leading toward the 1510 b/c I can carry it on airplanes).

Basically, I'm wondering who I should buy from? I've seen them cheapest at www.pelicanonline-ralphs.com, but I want to make sure they are an authorized dealer. Does anyone recommend any other company?

The 1510 is great since use can use it as a carry-on. I use mine for my HVX and various accessories such as batteries.

Those prices look pretty good but you might want to check copsplus.com, that's where I got mine for fairly cheap.

Another option is a Storm case (now a part of Pelican as well) with Zacuto's custom cut foam. It is a more expensive option but very nice and clean, everything fits beautifully. There's none of the hassles of pick-and-pluck -- which takes forever and never really looks right. We use them for our demo HPX200s and HPX170s, as well as the JVC GY-HM700L17, and couldn't be happier.

I just recently designed a custom foam insert for the pelican 1610 that was cut by Olympic Case in Tampa. The case contained slots for 3 batteries, 3 P2 cards and other accessories. The foam for the camera body was cut to multiple depths and it hold that camera quite nicely. They should still have my CAD file on file and I have since done a second design that has room for 4 batteries and P2 cards.

Anyone familiar with which Porta Brace case is carry on friendly?

i'm torn between the 1510 and a porta brace for my 170
