Best, Smallest, Lightest Video Head for Nikon V1

I need anyone's experience with locating a small pan or fluid head for a small tripod for use with the Nikon V1. I don't want it to weigh much, and at that size I am not sure what the difference between a fluid-head type and a friction type might be. Any suggests, and links to buy if you have them.

For a budget pan & tilt fluid head, my go to are Manfrottos. They have two, small fluid heads for lightweight setups:

i have a 701hdv, its great but possibly larger than you need. Ive used the comparable (in size, weight and capacity) fancier 714 ( http://www.amazon.com/CowboyStudio-...d=1364591227&sr=1-2&keywords=fluid+video+head ) and its great but again, larger than your needs i think. I have in the past had two of these ( http://www.amazon.com/Velbon-Vel-Fl...d=1364591287&sr=1-4&keywords=fluid+video+head ) and LOVED them. one now sits on my slider and is a dream. Its plenty of drag for something like the v1. About half the size and weight of the 701 but in my opinion, for a light camera, just as good.

I have been using my V1 on all my Tripods.
I now have aquired the power zoom 10-100 which I really like
The barrel is so big that I cannot mount it.

Is there an adapter available?
