Best settings to shoot with on GH1 for color correcting later?

Hey everyone. I have been shooting a short film with my HPX170 at 1080 24PA. WB setting at 5.6K (so far I've only been shooting the outdoor scenes) and shutter at 1/48th. I have all my image settings set so the image is very flat and basic for color correcting the footage later in post. Now that I will be getting a GH1 and attaching Nikon primes so I can get that shallow DOF, what settings should I set the GH1 to in order to match the footage I already shot with the HPX170 and also so I can color correct the GH1 footage in post? Does the GH1 have the exact same image settings as the HPX170... you know, Coring, Gamma, Knee, etc.? Thanks. By the way, I will be getting my GH1 tomorrow... that's why I'm asking...

I think most people will say shoot with the "Smooth" film mode with your contrast at -2. You won't have all the control as the HPX but you can work with the settings to get the image to close to what you want and finish it in post.

Actually, I switched to Nostalgic with Contrast at -2 based on the advice of Rory_B and Pappas and I have not only been extremely satisfied with the look but have also had very little trouble correcting or even pushing the footage in post.

Do you change anything else besides Contrast? I'm wondering specifically with Sharpness?
