best settings for nattress deinterlace

hey guys. I have had some great success using the nattress film effects smart deinterlace on 50i HDV footage then conforming to 23.98p

but my question is, when shooting with the Z1U, does anyone have any suggestions for the best settings to prep for deinterlace in post? High shutter speed? sharpen the image? etc?

any two cents appreciated
 
just checked out the article. thanks. the key line to me was to crank sharpening down. however, i am mac based and his workflow was all PC. but i can adapt to survive.

i guess my next question would be. conform to 23.98 in cinema tools first, then deinterlace. or vice versa?
