Best Settings for 60p in ML Raw

Hey guys,

Just received my 5D Mk III and have been testing raw all morning. Almost everything works like a charm and looks phenomenal.

I'm going to the Bahamas next week and want to put together a raw showreel while I'm there. I'm planning on shooting 60fps.

For some reason, my Lexar 1000x 64GB cards hit 90MB/s+ in 1920x1080p 24fps, but when I switch to 1920x672 @ 60fps, this drops to around 70MB/s. Anyone know why? Is there a better setting to reduce dropped frames in 60fps?

Because you are writing twice as much information. Make sure you set your shutter speed to 120 in the magic lantern menu and not just in the canon menu.

Thanks for the info. Is a drop of 20MB/s in record speed normal too though? If I could still hit 90+, which the card is capable of, I don't think I'd have any drop frames.
