best setting for shooting in a dark bar?

i'll be shooting a short largely located in a purposefully dark bar (just murky looking, we will have lights) and am wondering what the best scene file settings are to get deep blacks short of noise or something milky. i searched the forum and ran headfirst into the infamous noise thread and got exhausted. anybody care to share their experiences and preferred scene file settings for a situation like this? shooting 720p primarily at 24pn.
