best setting for bright daylight with DVX100 series

Just wondering how others might approach shooting in bright sunlight. What have you found to be the best settings. In general of course as I know there re a lot of variables to a question like this. But I'm sort of new and am just looking for a good starting point.
An addendum to this question would be "...and in fast action shots as well.

Well this one looks good in any progressive setting...

V Detail Level: -1
Detail Coring: +2
Chroma Level: +3
Chroma Phase: 0
Color Temperature: 0
Master Pedestal: -8
Auto Iris Level: -1
Gamma: B. Press
Knee: High
Matrix: Cinelike
Skin Tone Detail: Off
V Detail Frequency: Thin
Progressive: Any
