Hello, can anyone suggest the best/fastest SD card for shooting 4k-10bit on my Lumix GH5. I'm using the San Disk Extreme 90 MBs and i when I try to shoot 4k-10bit the camera stops with a message and I can't continue, I assume I need the 300 MBs card speed?

Thanks for your suggestions!

great, so I take it is the read/write speed that makes the difference? Thanks for the tip.

I've had no problems with my Extreme Pro or Extreme 128gb sd cards for 150mbps, but I use my Sandisk Extreme Pro 280MB/s sd cards when I am recording the All Intra 400mbps. Never had not one issue with either card.

I have the Angelbird 64 GB card and find that its very reliable when recording All I 400 MP4(LPCM) format but sometimes cuts off after 6- 9 seconds when recording
All I 400 in MOV format. Do you have any problems using the MOV format. Thanks.

Anyone use the Sony M's for 400mbps 4K? They seem to work well but would love to hear about actual users here.

Actual user on GH5s. The Sony M cards are fine, you can fill the card with a single 41min or so 400Mb/sec recording. Quick and speedy file playback as well.

I have two, bought at two different times, both work flawlessly.

Perfect! Thanks

Are the cards being recommended on this thread capable of Dual Recording the 4K 10-bit ALL-I codec?

So far I’ve only shot Long GOP, & been holding off on ALL-I until Sandisk releases cards that meet Panasonic’s specifications. I’m rooting for the new kids who claim to cater to the pro market, but so far haven’t been willing to risk clients’ data on them.

Yes.

I just tried with the Sony M cards... when switched to 400Mb/sec using freshly formatted cards and the record button hit, the camera instantly complains "Cards must be identical for dual recording to work". Dual recording DOES work with 150Mb material, so go figure.

Does dual 400Mb/sec work with the approved cards? I don't know.

Regards
