Best questions to ask when buying ***

Im possibly buying a dvx from a guy, what are the best questions to ask to make sure the camera is in good working condition

how many hours are on it?

What have you been shooting with it?

what kinda tapes were used (sony which is wet lube) or anything other brand (which is dry lube). so you know how to proceed in the type of tapes you'll be using. of course u can get it professionally cleaned and then start using any tape u want.

Ask what is wrong with it ...if there are any problems.

was it used for capturing alot?

if he's local ask if u can test it out. inspect it thoroughly.
