Best place to sell my HVX200?

Time to get rid of the ol girl. I've had my HVX200 for a while now, but it's time to send her to a better home. :crybaby: I have looked at Amazon and Ebay. Amazon seems to command better pricing for the seller but ebay seems to have a larger, more enthusiastic buyership. I am not a big fan of Paypal or Ebay policies and fees but if it's the best place than that may be the cost of doing business. I want to get a good price for the camera however, I also want to sell it fairly quick. I've tried Craigslist because I prefer cash and face to face sales but it doesn't seem to be moving there. Has anyone had any success selling their HVX200? If so, where? Also, what would be a fair price to ask in today's market? It is a mint condition Panasonic HVX 200 with very low hours (97). It comes with two batteries and a 1550 Pelican case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think if you're lucky you might get $1500 or so, wouldn't count on much more. I'm in the same boat. I have two of them. I don't use them much now that I have my Scarlet, but I still get those jobs that roll around that need me to have two cameras or where the Scarlet is overkill. I keep them around as they still do the job. Been tempted by the HPX-250s, but I'm not sure they are worth it just yet. I think I'll be fine with these babies for at least another year.

still have mine too. it still does well for sports, short videos and mainly my daytime workhorse. i have been toying with a Canon DSLR (T3i) lately so i'm real happy with the results especially with night video.
