best place for repair/XLR problem

My XLR ports recently stopped recognizing input. Whenever I plug in a mic, I get no reading...only on internal does it record sound. I'm trying to get this problem fixed in a timely manner because I need to use a shotgun for a project, and I'm wondering if anyone knows a repair center that's fast and affordable.

I'm not under warranty anymore. I called Panasonic's automated voiceline and they directed me to Bigston Digital Service in IL. Anyone heard of them?

Oh good, another person to commiserate with me about Panasonic discontinuing DVX parts. Luckily, you can still find this part. I think I got mine through spec-comm.com. When I called Panasonic about this part originally, they asked me how to spell XLR. That is where my good times began with the Panasonic Parts Department. I will post a link to the thread when I find it...
