I bought Andrew Reid's GH3 "book" and was surprised to find the following recommendation for low-light shooting:
For punchy color and contrast (especially in low light)
Photo style: Scenery Contrast: +0 Sharpness: +0 Color: +0 NR: -5
I used these settings at a recent reception and found the noise levels to be higher than what I prefer at ISO levels I have successfully used in the past.
I'd be curious why he recommended these settings for low light. Especially turning noise reduction all the way down.
What pictures settings have you found to be best for low-light shooting?
