Best picture profile for night time 60fps video on A7s?

Hey guys,

I would love to know you opinion on what is the best picture profile to shooting on low night/night stuff on the a7s at 60fps. It'd be in downtown NYC so I would have some ambient available. I popped off some test shots with Slog 2 and wasn't too keen of the results. I have heard talk of using Cine Gamma 2 in the s-log profile. True? Anyone have a more preferred PP?

Also, cropped of full frame 60 fps? Shutter angle (125?). I am looking to have the least noise possible in my image. Sorry if this sounds so amateur, very new to the A7S.

In cropped mode you will have less rolling shutter but a little bit more noise. Shutter angle is a creative decesion and depends if youll be using your 60p footage in a 24 timeline or not. I like using mccregor cine profile with two shifts toward magenta, but be aware youll have to grade in post. Try to have a manual white balance depending on your scene and your colors will always be right. If you go above 12800 iso i would recommend cine 1 profile. Always expose to your subjects, im pretty sure youll have to blow out some signs and lamps.

cheers.

Yes, I will be using in a 24P timeline. Is 1/100 pushing it? Obviously I would love to have the highest shutter speed possible where it won't kill the smooth slow mo effect but not sacrifice the image. I plan to keep shutter below 10,000 and use available lights from storefront windows. Any further advice would be appreciated.
