There are 3 major that I have seen for the nikon:

ciecio7:

Novoflex:

Voigtlander:

I have ordered the ciecio7 cause there are a lot of good opinions on it here at the forum.
I suppose to get it next week

The other 2 are too expensive in my opinion, and I do not paln to use G lens on the GH1.

Note you will not have AF and you can only control lenses with aperture ring, although there is a ciecio7 version for that too. In Novoflex you can control G lens too (lenses without a ring), in Voigtlander I don't know.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the ones adys listed.

I have the Novoflex for Nikon mount and am happy with it. The built-in ring as opposed to the protruding knob on the ceico7 appealed to me. That said, since I haven't actually used the ceico7 can't really say if the knob has any drawbacks in actual use versus the Novoflex ring adjustment.

I have recently bought the Rayqual adapter from Japan Exposure, I think it is a solid and very well made piece of equipment which gives accurate infinite focus. It locks on the camera and the Nikon lenses can then be changed without problems.

Ciecio7 is great, although I have heard complaints that the one with the bolt blocks tripod use with some plates....but if you don't have any DX lenses that don't have aperture rings then you're fine with the one you linked, great build quality, works perfectly well, and much cheaper than those others you linked...$290?! HA!

Got my nikon ciecio7 yesterday, its very good and easy to use, works great on my 3 prime lens.

A Great buy for a 69$.

mpgxsvcd I am looking at your ebay link and I don't get it... you can only choose between minimum and maximum aperture? Close and open, that's it? Or can you also choose the steps between them?

I just got a reply from him, any aperture step can be chosen. I ordered one, looks good.

AWESOME! I actually purchased it thinking that it was either on or off. I thought it was a max or min but nothing in between. I really wasn’t looking for full aperture control because I only need it for max wide open. I already have another lens in that focal range but it doesn’t go anywhere near as wide open.

That is great though. I should be able to get some really sharp videos at wide open and at about F2-3.5. Originally, I was concerned that the lens would be set at some other aperture other than wide open and there would be no way to adjust it. It looks like this adapter will work perfectly. I just hope it gets here soon.
