GH3 Best method to shoot a day to sunset time lapse?

I have read that Lightroom and LRTimelapse plug-in is a good way to go. I was going to buy this plug-in but the LRTimelapse website is being blacklisted because of a virus. Not sure whats up. Hopefully they get it cleaned up since I want to try this plug-in.

I have only fooled around with this a bit but I would run all manual, 5-8 seconds between shots, F4 and a shutter speed double the frame rate then adjust the ISO on the fly. Using LRTimelapse you can adjust the meta data to modify the exposure in LR. Drop the resulting images into an editor then set the display length to your taste. I used 1 image for every 2 frames at 60 fps and the motion/smoothness was fine.

As mentioned there are forums full of this stuff but not much for GH3 since the FF Nikon and Canon are the big players here.

I haven't tried it yet (I'm set up to shoot sunrise tomorrow) but a tip on the Timelapse forum http://timelapse.org/section/ suggested setting bracketing exposures, separate them by 0, +, -, then render three clips and fade between them in the NLE. Sounds a bit tedious but the price is right.

Well that was a bust on multiple fronts. My start time was too late to catch the first transition, the weather was cloudy and dull so I didn't get the drama I hoped for, and it turns out that bracketing is disabled for time lapse. Sorry for the floop up.

I tried the LRTimelapse demo. It worked well for me. The demo is fully functional but there is a limit on how many images you can load. Watch all 3 of the tutorials. The logic he has deployed for the 'holy grail' work flow is quite simple and effective. I am going to do one more test then most likely will purchase this. Worth the money when weighed against the time you save by doing these adjustments manually in LR.
