Best Matte Box + Shoulder Mount For 7D?

I use the redrock matte box. I love the swing away feature, the ability to add flags on all 4 sides, and the ability to add more filter stages. The donuts are cool, but I rarely ever use them. I recommend getting metal lens hoods that have the same diameter front for all of your lenses so you can use just one donut. The swing away makes changing lenses a breeze. The new thumb screws are also nice, as you can lift up and change there position as needed.

**Stepping on the soap box**

I'm a firm believer in supporting companies who create innovative things like redrock has and not so much of a supporter of companies that copy designs (like the cinecity). If we kept supporting the companies who just copy designs, eventually the company they are copying would go out of business and then they would because they cannot come up with their own designs... the ol' domino effect...

**Stepping off the soap box**

I have always had good experiences with redrock micro and if I ever had a problem, Brian would bend over backward to help resolve it. That alone is worth the prices they offer. Not only that, but their designs are really logical, robust, modular, and keep improving as the years go on. Heck I'm still using the same support system from my redrock M2 from 4 years ago (future proof?)! For the middle of the road pricing redrock offers, it's pretty amazing for the quality of product you get. While people think support gear should be cheaper than the camera, I have a feeling prices are only going to raise over time. I wouldn't be surprised if redrock raised their prices closer to the level of zacuto stuff over time because of the product and design you are getting. I hope they don't, but that's just my crazy forecast though...

I hope this info/thoughts help.
