Hello all, I have been "away" for a bit, working on a bunch of productions..BUT I wanted to post this, as I think it's worth a look:

it's going to take about 2 hours to upload, and it's using the bitjazz.com codec but this should be the best 35mm Letus35 reel-stream footage ever seen on the net...make sure you have the bitjazz.com codec installed to view, and the file is 148megs!

give it 2 hours to upload on our ftp

dv3productions.com/HD_dvx/Letus35_SHEERIVDEO.avi

oh the little "dot" in the frame is jsut a spec of dirt, don't JUMP on me for that ! ;)

I'm guessing it's a quicktime 7 issue. I'm not sure if Bitjazz has updated their pc codec to work with Quicktime 7 yet. Anyone else able to play it?

I downloaded and installed the codec and I can't get it to work either. Quicktime just freezes when I try to open the file and Media Player won't even respond to the codec. *shrugs*

Can you encode it... or at least part of it... in a format that's more widely recognized?

Hey Obin, Tell us more! I can't view the images either, even with sheervideo installed. Do we need the beta sheer video AVI to work it? Anyway, why the Letus35, what happened to your micro35?

C'mon throw us a friggin' bone here! :)

sorry gang, try the beta sheer codec this could be the issue, install the latest free beta and run this thing under windows ONLY try the windows media player then try after effects and see what happens...I don't understand this issue. bitjazz is an AWESOME DI codec I use it all the time...if not I will try the apple h264 stuff...I think I will need PRO version of quicktime to encode right?

Obin, why are avoiding everyones question? Shaw and Ron tabubkin jermey asked you a simple question! Money talks I guess! Where is my muthaphucken wink icon?

sorry gang, we have been swamped with work and budgeting work the last few days,no time to update the letus35 encode...I will get it done. promise. soon.

That looks like a commercial - what kind of commercial you ask?

One that was shot with 35mm by a competent DP. Yes - it looked quite good. Lighting specifics? Lense? Etc plz

Looks amazing!
Bigger file please!
And share some background info, please!
Btw, are you the same OBIN from the DIY HD threat on dvinfo?
