Best lenses for FF video?

[blommer]

I just got a body-only 5D MKIII and a Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 and Canon 50mm f1.4. Any recommendations for some glass with about $500 to spend? 85mm? 28mm? 100+mm?

Bloomer, I'd say nab something on the longer end, an 85 at least.

Samyang 85mm is a great value and you dont have 85mm covered...for around 300$ it should be your next lens!

The 85 Rokinons (same lens as the Samyang, just rebranded, are on sale over at BH for $239!

I can't find a c/y to EF mount adapter with iris control. Can anyone help me?

Another thing. The Contax Zeiss lenses is KEH.com are for 35mm camera but I don't see anywhere that they can fit EF mount camera?

Thanks.

Contax C/Y lenses have f/rings so all you need is an inexpensive manual adaptor from eBay or elsewhere.
