Best Hot-Shoe Mount for Monitor

There's a ton of these available at cheap prices or expensive prices. The last time I owned one it broke almost immediately and was very frustrating.

Can anyone suggest a good hot-shoe mount I can use for my TV Logic monitor on top of my AF100 and occasionally my 5D? Something perhaps mid-range in price?

My friend makes arms and mounts in a lot of different configurations. Rail clamps with hot shoe as well as arms that can hold all sorts of stuff. Not cheap but very well designed and manufactured.

We shot a little test video with a slider we modified in his garage. You can see the products on a camera in the video

I already own a Noga-Arm that works pretty well but sometimes it's a little cumbersome and on my 5D especially I need a hot-shoe mount that isn't an arm. Any suggestions on brand/price?

I just replaced a broke-ass Redrock israeli arm with a pieces from the Ultralight System. I like the modular design (and no internal parts that will fail without warning).

You can get a mount for anything (1/4" 20, 3/8" 16, male/female, hot shoe, Go Pro, etc)
