Best HD to dvd settings?

I have a 2 hour show filmed in HD that I want to put onto dvd and just wondering what would be the best settings to achieve the best result? I will be using H.264. What output frame size and kbps would you recommend?

For a standard definition playable DVD? MPEG-2 with the least compression you can afford to fit onto a disk, which depends on if it's single or double layer. If you can set it to 2 Pass VBR that tends to get you the best results, although it takes a while. DVD software should be able to decide the maximum bitrate based on the file size needed.
 
hd->standard dvd...even dual layer will not fit 2hrs without looking horrible. i get maybe 20 mins per layer with h.264
