Best hack patch settings for 1080p native 24p no pulldown

Looks like I will test the GH1 soon...
Was wondering if anyone could tell me the best settings to set up the ptool for native 24p no pulldown so camera audio will match footage.

Is this true 24p or 23.976?

I would like to then run the footage through CineForm and out as CineForm 422 then into Avid

Thanks for all of you guy's help for the newbies like me

Since you have Cineform, you're probably better off not using native 24p and using Cineform's pulldown instead. There is currently no way to get fully stable shooting with Native turned on. However, I've had pretty good luck using IPowell's Stable 40MBPS settings, turning on Native, and raising the Overall to 96 million and lowering GOP to 5. You will never be able to shoot test charts or static foliage without the cam freezing, but for most scenes it's ok.

Ok thanks
I have heard this before but thought it was a problem with Mjpeg.
If I do shoot with pulldown and then remove with CineForm does this alter my sound recorded from the camera?
I don't want to knock the sound out of sync if at all possible.
Thanks

I don't think that it degrades the sound, but if you found that it did I think you could always match up the sound from the MTS file to your cineform file in the editor...

My settings, which I have had great success with, are 40,42,45 and no 24 native.

On GH13 you can shoot high bitrate native 24p (actual frame rate of MTS file is 23.971p), but certain types of shot must be avoided (high detail static scene). Shooting in stock 24PsF wrapper but with hacked high bitrates adds stability but requires pulldown removal. 1080/24PsF on unhackable new GH1 cams simply sucks. If I was buying a new GHx today for 24p mode I would wait for the GH2.
