Im shooting some behind the scenes stuff to put on a dvd along with my movie. whats the best setting to use for just generic shooting? Ive been using a certain preset to shoot my film, but ive never shot just regularly? what is some of the settings that you guys use genericly? cuz I shot something the other day on scene 24p and scence andvanced and it looked horrible it looked flat and plain, but i guess in need to do some tweaking.

Are you looking for settings that will look great without a lot of manipulation in post? Flat and plain is actually great for general shooting, but only if you are going to heavily color correct in post. The CINE gammas are actually not great for general purpose shooting, because there is no KNEE protection in the highlights. You want one of the other GAMMA modes for that.

yeah i want something that is pretty standard. ive got a certain preset that i shot my film with. its got alot of contrast in it, its pretty much the band of brothers look. but i shot something in a regular mode and i was just pretty disgusted with the outcome even in post.
