I've repeatedly tried to download the pdf manual from Panasonic without success, so I'm hoping someone can answer this question here.
Will the User Programmable Buttons on the HVX accomplish the same focus, zoom and iris timed transitions as controlled by the A-B transition buttons on the Sony FX1 & Z1?
If not, is there an equivalent method for accurate repeatability?
I shoot videos for point of purchase and DVD instructionals and have fallen in love with the A-B transition controls on our FX1. It allows for perfect editing of dissolves during zooms and other FX that are much more difficult to do manually. I'm not skilled enough to duplicate these exactly without the automation and will hate to live without this capability when I move up to the HVX.
