Best Format For Tv Ad Spot Shoot ??

what is the best HD format to shoot for 4x3 NTSC SD playback on TV?
I'm shooting a commercial for a car dealership.
Also what scene file should i start with?

(i need full scrn video - no letterbox)

Why shoot HD at all?

If you're talking about shooting with the HVX, then I would shoot it in DVCPro50.
You'll get the benefits of 4:2:2 color sampling with half of the compression of DV, and nearly a third the compression of DVCProHD.

i see dvcpro50 is only available in 480i. would you suggest 60i ?

Yeah we shoot all of our commercials in DVCPro50 either 24pA or 30p

If you know it is going to DVD or SD broadcast TV, what are the tradeoffs for 24pA vs. 30p?
