Best Follow Focus Under 1K??

Hi everyone !!

I have been looking on internet about this subject for a long long time !!

I know they talk about this but most of them about cheap FF.

Lets start for what i do not want: Cinecity (or Indian ones), Cavision, Redrock, jog35, DFocus.

I would like something more like Vocas, Chrosziel, Arri but a little less expensive of course ...

something durable for use with my 7D and also with cameras like Sony EX1 or 3 ..

Thanks for any recomendations ..

SGPro! for the price. I've got the Zacuto and love it but its a bit over 1k as is the Cinevate which is excellent as well.

i used to have an indifocus. it worked pretty well. it was no zacuto. but at 1/5 the price, it wasnt supposed to be ; )

Letus have one coming out for around the $500 mark soon, Ikan just released one at a similar price. I've used the one from Genus and found it really nice.

EDIT: Curious, why do you lump the Redrock model in with the cheaper options? Also, the JAG35 and DFocus model is the same thing, that is DFocus make it and JAG35 distribute it.

Thanks guys,

QutlawsDelejos i just had read in some forums (do not remember wich one) that the Redrock FF is good but not as solid in terms of duration and construction than for example the Arri, Chrosziel, Zacuto, etc. (of course is much cheaper)

I ve heard also good reviews of SGPro or Shoot35 FF, anyone have or used one??

It is worth to buy Zacuto or Cinevate?? are they durable ??

Thanks again to all

I have shoot35 and it is beautifully manufactured and working perfectly with ex1&pl lenses also.

Rgards,

Jaakko

I've had the RRM FF for like 3 or 4 years now and it's still working as well as the day I got it at less than half the cost of the ones you mention.
